The Observer plan comes as a Family membership — AED 450/year for 2 adults + up to 2 kids, with member pricing on events, courses & tourism for everyone. Need more seats? Add up to 2 more family members at AED 100 each.

Memberships run for 12 months. We'll email you a reminder before it expires so you can renew in a couple of clicks — there's no automatic charge, so you're always in control.
Yes. Membership is annual, and since it doesn't auto-renew, you simply choose not to renew — no cancellation process, no questions asked.
The Observer student rate is for verified full-time students. You'll confirm your student status when you join — we verify it and don't keep a copy of your ID.
It's a balance held on your account that you can put toward future bookings. Any credit you have shows in your member panel, and you can apply it at checkout.
You earn points on bookings and by attending events, then redeem them as a discount on future experiences — every 5 points is worth AED 1. See how points work for the full breakdown.
Your discount applies to your own ticket or booking across our scheduled events, courses and Astro tourism programs — 10% on Observer, 20% on Stargazer and 40% on Astronomer. It's for you, the member: a companion's or second person's ticket isn't discounted. The one exception is the Family plan, which covers up to four tickets per event. Members also enjoy a flat discount in the Astro-shop.
The Family plan covers up to four people (you plus three family members) and gives the member rate on up to four tickets per event. Need more? You can add up to two extra family members — a family of up to six — for AED 100 each per year. Each extra person gets the same perks, so your discounted-ticket allowance grows with them (five people = five discounted tickets, six = six). You can add the extra member(s) when you first sign up, or any time afterwards from your member dashboard — open Account details → Your family and tap "Add a family member". The add-on renews with your membership each year. Prefer we handle it? Just message us and we'll add it for you.
On our scheduled events, Stargazer members can bring one guest and Astronomer members two, at the member price, a set number of times each year. This friend rate is for scheduled event tickets only — it doesn't apply to private Astro tourism tours or courses, where the discount is for the member alone.
