“I have attended many of the DAG Events, most recently the Jupiter observation at the library and the planetary parade observation at Al Qudra. I can’t speak highly enough of the team. The organisation and knowledge of the staff and volunteers, coupled with the specialist equipment makes these well worth the time. Most importantly I have learnt something at all of them. “I volunteered for the total lunar eclipse event.. and although we were working, I got to enjoy the sighting on the moon. It was such a great experience and everything was so well organised. As someone who volunteers to help POD causes, it was so nice to see the volunteers to help them out during this event. There was one visually impaired person, who loved the moon and wanted to capture the moon during the eclipse. When he spoke to me and gave feedback about his experience he spoke about how the volunteers helped him navigate through the venue and I was so glad that Dubai astronomy was able to do that for him. I volunteered with my friends and we all had such a great time being a part of something so big and we're so grateful to be part of the experience.”
