Since its establishment in 2000, the organization has been guided by the vision of its Founder and CEO, Hasan Ahmad Al Hariri, who has been a driving force in advancing astronomy across the region. His leadership has played a pivotal role in shaping the local astronomy landscape, from co-founding the Emirates Astronomy Society to contributing to the creation of Al Thuraya Astronomy Center, solidifying DAG as a cornerstone of scientific engagement in the UAE.
