Astronomy Winter Camp 2020

Join us for a 3-day kids winter camp at Al Thuraya Astronomy Center.

Keep your children active during the winter break holidays with fun, creative, and educational activities with professional instructors in a safe environment.

Activities include learning about Blackholes in our Planetarium dome, Playing with Robotics and Lego, getting a chance to attend the Jupiter and Saturn Conjunction event and witnessing a once in a lifetime event! and much more at our kids winter camp!

• Time: 5pm – 8pm
• Location: Al Thuraya Astronomy Center, Mushrif Park – Dubai
• Ages: 7 – 14
• Fees:
  • AED 200/- per day
  • AED 500/- for the full camp
  • AED 400/- for DAG Members

• Day 1: (20th of Dec)
  • Black holes & Dark Matter Lecture
  • Robotics & Lego
  • Rockets Lecture

• Day 2: (5:30 – 7:00 PM / 21st of Dec)
  • The Great Conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn Event (1 extra ticket included)
  • Services Included: Tour of the Center, Telescope Observation, Virtual Reality, Mars Landing Game, Planetarium Show.

  • Mars Lecture
  • Meteorite Hunting
  • Astro Camping + Night Sky Tour
  • Trivia session + Certification Ceremony

Important Information:

• Masks are MANDATORY!
• Social distancing must be practiced at all times.
• Tickets for this camp are LIMITED!
• Please bring the hard copy or soft copy of the event ticket email to ensure a smooth and fast check-in.
• Dubai Astronomy Group paid members are requested to bring their membership ID card to be presented upon request.
